Schedule a Visit

Visits are scheduled at espvisitation@doc.nv.gov up to 30 days in advance. 

Visitors are encouraged to call 24 hours in advance to make sure the offender is still located at Ely State Prison and that their visiting days have not changed.

Visiting Hours

• All visitors must sign in and be cleared through the metal detector.
• All visitors and their vehicles are subject to search.
• Processing begins at 8:15 am and ends at 8:45 am.
• Offenders housed in the Infirmary may be scheduled any day of the week. The visit will be behind glass.
• High Risk Potential (HRP) will visit behind glass.
• All visiting must conform to AR 719, OP 719 and Ely State Prison Visiting Rules and Regulations.
• ALL INMATE VISITORS MUST BEGIN AN ORDERLY DEPARTURE AT 3:00 PM.
