John Henley, the Warden at Northern Nevada
Correctional Center, Northern Nevada Transitional Housing, and Stewart
Conservation Camp. Mr. Henley began his career with the Nevada
Department of Corrections in 2006 as a Correctional Officer Trainee at Warm
Springs Correctional Center where he quickly became the day-shift Central
Control Officer responsible for the transition to the Nevada Offender Tracking
Information System (NOTIS).
In 2017 Mr. Henley completed Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) Incident Command, and hands on chemical, biological,
radiological, nuclear or explosive (CBRNE) training in Anniston Alabama. In
2018 he completed the State of Nevada Certified Public Manager (CPM) program, a
nationally recognized and nationally accredited leadership development program
for public managers and supervisors.
In 2020, he took on the role of Associate Warden at Lovelock Correctional Center and returned to NNCC in 2022.
