Warden

 

Nethanjah Breitenbach is the Warden at Lovelock Correctional Center, Carlin Conservation Camp, and Humboldt Conservation Camp. Breitenbach has over 20 years of work experience in Corrections. She started as a Correctional Officer II for the Arizona Department of Corrections from 2001 through 2006 at Arizona State Prison Complex - Lewis and Florence.

 

 She then began her career with the Nevada Department of Corrections in 2007 as a Correctional Officer at Warm Springs Correctional Center. She has worked as a Correctional Officer at Silver Springs Conservation Camp, High Desert State Prison, Casa Grande Transitional Center, and Southern Desert Correctional Center.

 

She was then promoted in April 2014 to Correctional Casework Specialist Trainee at High Desert State Prison. In May 2016, she was promoted to Correctional Casework Specialist II at Southern Desert Correctional Center. In November 2019 she was promoted to Correctional Casework Specialist III at Offender Management Division. While working for Offender Management Division she also served as the Acting Classification Planning Specialist as well as Acting Associate Warden at NNCC. In 2021 she was promoted as Associate Warden at Northern Nevada Correctional Center. In 2022 she transferred to Warm Springs as Acting Warden where she later promoted to Warden.  


Breitenbach holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Sociology from the College of Southern Nevada.

 

Kara LeGrand

Associate Warden
Kara LeGrand, associate warden of Lovelock Correctional Center, has worked for the Nevada Department of Corrections since September 2013. During her career with the Nevada Department of Corrections, she has worked at Lovelock Correctional Center and Humboldt Conservation Camp in the position of correctional casework specialist.
LeGrand holds Bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice and sociology as well as a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University. She has been an associate warden at Lovelock Correctional Center since May of 2020.
Daniel Collier

Daniel Collier

Associate Warden
Daniel Collier is an Associate Warden at Lovelock Correctional Center. Daniel has over 19 years of experience and has worked his way through the custody ranks. During his tenure, he has held Basic Instructor Development (BID), Taser, and OC Instructor certifications.  Additionally, he has pursued other courses such as the FEMA Field Force Operations (FFO) and Nevada High-Intensity Drug Traffic Area (HIDTA).   Associate Warden Collier is a very results-oriented, hands-on team leader, and an interactive supervisor who believes in a strong line of communication for cohesion and camaraderie within the institution. He is well versed in computer software and holds an Associates of Science degree in Mathematics. Daniel has been instrumental in his involvement in software development for NOTIS, KRONOS, and the offender phone systems using test environments to improve functionality for staff.
